Known to be Asia’s biggest business fashion event, Wills Lifestyle India Fashion week (WIFW) showcased some of the most wonderful and stunning textures and colors we’ve seen this year. An assortment of designers integrated Indian crafts and traditional pattern into urban design, and the results were definitely captivating, to say the least!

One collection, for example, really caught our eyes, and felt would be well complimented by our new Spring collection:

If you’re thinking about picking up some of the top trends India’s fashion week showcased, we’ve got the scoop for you: bright colors, palazzo pants (very retro and cool!), and shades of mustard were among the hottest looks shared amongst the designers.

Our lovely designer, Cinzia Moniaci, is hard at work on new collections, so between the inspiration she got from her trip to Italy and the various fashion weeks she’s followed, it’s exciting to see what we’ll have in store for you!

Fall/Winter 2011/2012 collections from designers have introduced a curious new line of footwear: sneaker wedges. The lines seem to be dedicated to sport style lovers and include sneaker wedges that Domenico Dolche and Stephano Gabbana advise to wear with skirts featuring transparent frills, knitted garments and trousers. In Italy everything is an art: food, wine, the way we make our coffee and fashion of course! Moni Moni handbags are handcrafted following Italy’s old traditions of artisanship. Welcome to Part 2 of our series following Cinzia’s visit to Italy! The rolling landscapes are a sight to see. Cinzia noticed a beautiful contrast between the open fields and the city behind it and took note (Pictured Left).
“The depth and attention to detail in Italian architecture is exactly what I always want to implement in my design,” thought Cinzia (Pictured Right).

 
The nature is especially beautiful during her trip — the flowers seemed more radiant, and the grass more lush (Pictured Left).
